2026 First Shots

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC with Prior Registration: Wadsworth Hunt Club’s Youth “First Shots” Event!
- Hosted by the Wadsworth Hunt Club, this Free event is open to the public (with prior registration) and gives the attending youth a safe introduction for Rifle, Pistol, and Archery shooting in a controlled, safe environment.
- Youth between 9-17 are encouraged to attend with a parent or guardian.
- It is a great way to have young shooters obtain the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for introductory safe firearm/archery handling.
- All firearms and ammo are provided, and we have a free lunch too. We can host up to 24 kids, but this event fills up fast!
- WHC volunteers are almost exclusively NRA Certified Instructors and/or NRA Certified Range Safety Officers, or have previously been military and/or law enforcement firearms instructors.
